             In case of Install you will be connected to server and downloading will start but this way is not reliable because whenever we have tried this option then all times we are not successful. Else if you skip installation then nothing will happen and your application will not work.

Method for Installation of Dot.Net on Windows 8: 

• Create "feature" folder in C:\ Drive

•  Open Command Prompt

1. For CMD press Win + R
2. Type CMD
3. Press Enter

• In CMD type this command
•  xcopy H:\sources\sxs\*.* c:\feature /s
• Here H:\ is your Installation media where you have Windows8 installation files . You can change H:\ with your Drive in which installation files are present

• Wait till files are copied
• Now open Command Prompt (CMD) with Administrator Privileges
• Type the Following Command
• Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:c:\feature  /LimitAccess

• After Some Time this feature will be enabled and now you can enjoy your applications on Windows8
