How to hide data file in image using command

Steganography: 

It is defined as hiding information in other data files.

Hiding Data in Image:

Different steganography tools are used for hiding data in other data file like images etc. But here we are sharing a method for hiding data in image without any steganography software. We will hide data using command prompt.

Tutorial:

Follow these steps

• Gather all you data, which is to be hidden, in a compressed file i.e hidden.rar
• Place you picture in the folder where hidden.rar is placed. Let us Suppose your picture name is image.jpg
• Hold down Shift key and right click on empty space in that folder then a menu will appear and now release Shift key
• Select Open Command Window here option, by this action Command prompt will open in that folder
• Now type copy /b image.jpg + hidden.rar new_image.jpg
• Done

You will see that there is a new file in that folder named as new_image.jpg. Your data is hidden in that file.

For seeing your data open that file with Winrar and your hiden data will be in front of you.
